(18) Misfits' Adventure

HELLO ALL

It's been such a long time since I've updated this babe HAHAHA I've been so busy that I don't have the time to simply do anything that I've been doing for the past few years (not even reading a word from my story books) but I managed to squeeze out time in between to read Looking for Alaska, which is a really good book by John Green by the way. We had a half day today since the seniors did our school proud in the recent O Levels so I did really fun things with my friends today! The reason behind my title "Misfits' Adventure" is because of how awkward and out of place I felt at scape and Haji Lane since I'm not step or ah-lian enough and I'm known to be a Misfit everywhere I go so hence the title!
We explored this fascinating haven called Haji Lane today, and we decided to do a little shopping for the forthcoming CNY! My mom gave me approx. $150 to spend but I did save a little for myself to spend as well! I didn't manage to take a "loots" photo but I bought 2 really cheap and nice dresses from Haji Lane and they suited me really well! Haji Lane wasn't as nice as we thought it was going to be, but it was a place where we could take lots of nice photos with the backdrop. All the shops were unique and all, but they all sold the same things and were overpriced a bit so we didn't buy much from the shops! We walked on and on and on in our heels/platforms till we had blisters by the time we were done with the day.
We then moved on to town area (scape) and we saw so many people that we knew from school even the teachers, and it was really scary since we were just talking about that particular person and they showed up HAHAHA we missed the birthday party for the 3 people in class today since it was held really late and I feel kinda bad about it T__T At scape, I went shoes hunting (but to no avail since I ran out of cash) and bag hunting! I managed to snag a handbag from editor's market while bumping into a couple of teachers and it was so shit awkward okay. I even bought fisheye-macro lenses for my phone and they are super duper cool! Ok so enough for today, and I'll leave some pictures down below!

(17) Onerus

Helloooooooooooo

Well it definitely has been hectic (I'm kidding, it's been beyond crazy) ever since school reopened and now that I'm a secondary four student, I feel like jumping in front of the nearest car on the road.
Being a secondary four student definitely has its countless perks and down sides to this lifestyle. Some of the perks include graduating in a matter of 10 months from this horrible place I call school, getting really chilly classrooms with air conditioners, getting the chance to be a senior again after Primary 6 and so on. No matter how many times I try rewriting the list of 'pros and cons of being a Secondary 4 student', I still find myself coming up with at least 20 more cons than the perks. I'm actually really really really thankful to the level camp we had, where we attended some life-changing workshops (well at least it was for me) and it somehow managed to change my mindsets about certain things, and helped me to mature in the way of thinking and being a 16 year old. I've always been one who would never ever take studying seriously, even up to the beginning of this year. I didn't know the meaning behind doing this tedious ball of crap called the O Levels and now that I've attended the workshop, I've finally understood and found out what I actually want to do in life after secondary school!
I've just been to a few poly open houses like (screams) Ngee Ann and SP yesterday and honestly, it's been a fruitful and inspiring trip down to the two polys. After going down to Ngee Ann, and finding out more about my dream course, I've never been more excited than to get my ass into that place. It wouldn't be a smooth road to take to get there, but it doesn't mean that I wouldn't even try! I would do anything to get in, and that includes giving up kpop, which I just did a few days ago! It was a bold step to take, and I obviously wasn't in the right mind when I was did it but I don't regret it one bit! Ngee Ann is a really beautiful campus and I nearly went to the extent of kissing the floor once I stepped on its holy grounds, hugging the mass comm lecturer, and rolling on the (really comfortable-looking) grass, but don't fret, because I didn't do any of that!!!!! I've never been more determined to get something before in my life, and I'm glad that this would be my first! I can't wait for the dpa and jsae interviews so that I'll be able to prove my worth of entering ngee ann's mass comm! I ALSO CANT WAIT FOR RED CAMP'11 OH YEA
Being a secondary 4 student may be taxing and backbreaking, but I don't.......mind it at all! (Ok I cringed a mighty lot while typing that HAHAHA) At least, I'll be able to experience what studying and working doubly, triply hard to get what I want in life, actually is.
OKKKKKK I have to go now, I really am not supposed to be typing this, I got bored while doing research for my English homework HAHAHAHA BYE NOW
Oh and check this song out! I found it when I was reading an update of my favourite fic! ^___^
