Helloooooooooooo
Well it definitely has been hectic (I'm kidding, it's been beyond crazy) ever since school reopened and now that I'm a secondary four student, I feel like jumping in front of the nearest car on the road.
Being a secondary four student definitely has its countless perks and down sides to this lifestyle. Some of the perks include graduating in a matter of 10 months from this horrible place I call school, getting really chilly classrooms with air conditioners, getting the chance to be a senior again after Primary 6 and so on. No matter how many times I try rewriting the list of 'pros and cons of being a Secondary 4 student', I still find myself coming up with at least 20 more cons than the perks. I'm actually really really really thankful to the level camp we had, where we attended some life-changing workshops (well at least it was for me) and it somehow managed to change my mindsets about certain things, and helped me to mature in the way of thinking and being a 16 year old. I've always been one who would never ever take studying seriously, even up to the beginning of this year. I didn't know the meaning behind doing this tedious ball of crap called the O Levels and now that I've attended the workshop, I've finally understood and found out what I actually want to do in life after secondary school!
I've just been to a few poly open houses like (screams) Ngee Ann and SP yesterday and honestly, it's been a fruitful and inspiring trip down to the two polys. After going down to Ngee Ann, and finding out more about my dream course, I've never been more excited than to get my ass into that place. It wouldn't be a smooth road to take to get there, but it doesn't mean that I wouldn't even try! I would do anything to get in, and that includes giving up kpop, which I just did a few days ago! It was a bold step to take, and I obviously wasn't in the right mind when I was did it but I don't regret it one bit! Ngee Ann is a really beautiful campus and I nearly went to the extent of kissing the floor once I stepped on its holy grounds, hugging the mass comm lecturer, and rolling on the (really comfortable-looking) grass, but don't fret, because I didn't do any of that!!!!! I've never been more determined to get something before in my life, and I'm glad that this would be my first! I can't wait for the dpa and jsae interviews so that I'll be able to prove my worth of entering ngee ann's mass comm! I ALSO CANT WAIT FOR RED CAMP'11 OH YEA
Being a secondary 4 student may be taxing and backbreaking, but I don't.......mind it at all! (Ok I cringed a mighty lot while typing that HAHAHA) At least, I'll be able to experience what studying and working doubly, triply hard to get what I want in life, actually is.
OKKKKKK I have to go now, I really am not supposed to be typing this, I got bored while doing research for my English homework HAHAHAHA BYE NOW
Oh and check this song out! I found it when I was reading an update of my favourite fic! ^___^
